Illinois Gold Prospecting

Hello,
I signed up on here a little over a month ago and I see no action here. I'm surprised considering the economy and the price gold is at right now. Thought I would see more going on. Just sayin'......
If anyone in the southern or central part of the state wants to meet up and get organized to do some prospecting, I'm game. It's always more fun to do something like this with friends. I'm very near St. Louis and am planning to travel to Indiana some this year. I welcome new friends with the same interests as myself.
Let's do something here people, Illinois isn't that lame, is it?

Trips will be limited this year. I will mostly stay home in Iowa and get some small gold. One trip to Illinois, but my brotherinlaw is driving to his family farm. hope we can find some gold in the creek that flows throught the farm. Has springs in the creek.
